Privacy information

Short version: if you leave your email, we use it to write to you about Unplug to Reconnect and the first pilot. We also ask for your age and where you live, so we understand who is interested. Nothing else.

Who is responsible

The controller is [NAME / ORGANISATION], [ADDRESS], [CONTACT EMAIL]. These details must be filled in before the site goes live.

What we collect

• Your email address (required).
• Your age and the country you live in (required).
• Your city or town and your gender (optional; you can choose “I prefer not to answer”).
• The message and question you choose to write (optional). Please don’t put anything sensitive in them.
• That you agreed to be emailed, and when, plus which version of the wording you saw.
• The language of the site you used and the page you signed up on.

We don’t ask for your name, phone number or street address. Age, country, city and gender are used only to understand who is interested in the pilot, for example to decide where and for whom to plan it. We never use them to single anyone out, and the counter and any figures we share are totals only.

Why, and on what basis

To tell you about the project and the pilot, and to count how many people are interested. The basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.

Where it is stored, and who sees it

In a database hosted with our infrastructure providers, which process it for us: [HOSTING PROVIDER, REGION] and [DATABASE PROVIDER, REGION]. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. Only the project team can read the entries.

The number on the site

The counter shows how many different email addresses have signed up. It never shows anyone’s details.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD] after the pilot.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser stores your language choice on your own device only.
